When NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell wants something, he usually gets it, and although not a done deal, it sure does look like the NFL will start playing 18 regular season games starting with the 2012 season. Putting aside whether this is good or not for the league, it sure will have an effect on the other sports and television schedules / viewing. I'll take a look at those effects.
Plus, Stephen Strasburg will be needing Tommy John surgery, and while this is bad news, it is not terrible news. Also, Tiger comes back to the pack at The Barclays, Payton Manning doesn't like a new NFL rule, Albert Pujols hits home run number 400 of his career and Pete Rose is giving Roger Clemens advice. Enjoy.
