So, when did US Soccer become like our other major sports and only look at results? Isn't US Soccer still in the "get better each time" stage? Seems like the US Soccer Federation President, Sunil Gulati, isn't sure about current coach Bob Bradley, because the team had a "missed opportunity" and "failed to meet expectations" according to Mr. Gulati. Really? I'm not "Mr. Futbal", but I think it would be a mistake to not give Bradley at least another four years through the next World Cup in 2014.
I'll give my thoughts about that news coming out of the US Soccer offices and other World Cup stories from the past few days, including the horrific referee calls so far this tournament. Plus our friend, Paul Lebowitz, gets mentioned by the Diamondback announcers, and a happy 50th birthday (one day late) to John Elway and a look at what "might have been" if he remained a Colt. Enjoy.
